Authenticated reflected XSS via unvalidated eventsource parameter
Published Mar 9, 2022 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in Zabbix Frontend allows remote authenticated users to alter a victim's page through a crafted action-page link. The actionconf.php handler rereads the eventsource request value instead of using its validated integer variable, allowing crafted input to reach page output. Exploitation requires frontend credentials, a victim who follows the link, and network reachability to an attacker-controlled server; script executes in the frontend origin and can modify displayed content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
