Unauthorized SSH authentication via unrestricted private-key selection
Published Feb 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper authorization in JetBrains TeamCity before 2021.2.1 allows remote attackers to make Agent Push use any server-side private key. The Agent Push key selector does not restrict selection to credentials authorized for agent deployment, so a request can direct SSH authentication through an unrelated server-held key. Reachability requires network access to TeamCity; published evidence does not establish disclosure of the private-key file contents.
