Arbitrary command execution via remoteIp injection
Published Feb 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in Tenda AX3 firmware 16.03.12.10_CN allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the remoteIp parameter. The formSetSafeWanWebMan handler accepts attacker-controlled remoteIp content in a command context without neutralizing command syntax. Network access to the handler is sufficient, with no authentication or user interaction required; successful exploitation grants command execution on the router.
