Heap-based buffer overflow in the CONNECT engine in MariaDB Server 10.6.5 allows local users to execute code as the service account. The SQL-query path copies user-supplied data into a fixed-length heap buffer without first validating its length. An authenticated database account and the CONNECT plugin are required; successful exploitation executes code with the database service account's privileges.
