Improper login-attempt restriction in Siemens Desigo controllers allows remote attackers to compromise accounts through credential attacks. The web application login accepts repeated attempts without countermeasures against password spraying or credential stuffing after valid usernames are identified. Network access to the device login is sufficient; successful guessing grants access to at least one account, with privileges determined by the compromised credentials.
