Session hijacking via nonexpiring AuthToken
Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Insufficient session expiration in Siemens Desigo DXR2, PXC3, PXC4, and PXC5 allows remote attackers to reuse captured tokens. The web application leaves each AuthToken valid after the configured auto-logoff timeout, so an old session credential remains authorized. Exposure requires capture of a legitimate token and affects DXR2 before 01.21.142.5-22, PXC3 before 01.21.142.4-18, and PXC4 and PXC5 before 02.20.142.10-10884.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
