Memory corruption via unchecked GetValue configuration copy
Published Aug 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Buffer overflow in TCL LINKHUB Mesh Wi-Fi AC1200 MS1G_00_01.00_14 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via configuration values. In the sntp binary, GetValue copies flash-stored configuration data into caller buffers without accounting for each destination's size. An adjacent-network attacker can supply the value through protobuf messages resembling the phone application's traffic, while local cfm access provides another path; Talos does not state whether exploitation reliably yields code execution or only a crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
