Local theater-mode disablement via unprotected alarm receiver

Improper access control in Samsung Wearable Devices running Wear OS 3.0 allows local applications to disable theater mode. The StTheaterModeDurationAlarmReceiver component accepts a theater-mode duration alarm from an untrusted application without enforcing the required permission. Any untrusted application installed on an affected watch can trigger the receiver and turn theater mode off, interrupting that display-suppression state.
