Script execution via unescaped source parameter
Published Feb 4, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Dario Curvino YASR – Yet Another Stars Rating 2.9.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject script via source. The plugin reflects the source request parameter into generated page output without adequate context-aware escaping; public references do not identify the responsible file or function. No authentication is required, but a privileged user must open the crafted link or page; the script then executes in that user’s browser and alters rendered content within the affected origin.
