Reflected XSS via unescaped login error
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Thruk Monitoring before 2.46.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in monitoring-interface users' browsers. Invalid login values are copied into detailed HTML error messages without output encoding or filtering, so supplied script markup executes in the page origin. Exploitation requires no Thruk account but does require a targeted user to submit the crafted login form, after which injected script runs under the Thruk origin.
