Authenticated code execution via serialized report recipients
Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
PHP object injection in SuiteCRM 7.12.4 and earlier and 8.0 through 8.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The AOR_Scheduled_Reports save path accepts a string in email_recipients unchanged, while get_email_recipients base64-decodes and unserializes the stored value, activating dependency gadget chains. Creating Scheduled Reports is required, and the payload runs when the malicious report is accessed.
