SQL injection in MCMS 5.2.5 allows remote attackers to compromise database confidentiality, integrity, and availability via categoryId. The IContentDao.xml mapper incorporates the categoryId parameter into a SQL statement without adequate neutralization, enabling crafted input to alter query behavior. The endpoint is reachable over the network without authentication or user interaction, so exposed MCMS deployments can be attacked remotely; the CVE record does not document a narrower deployment prerequisite.
