Published Feb 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Gibbon CMS 22.0.01 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser through outcome fields. outcomes_addProcess.php accepts crafted name, category, and description values without neutralizing executable HTML or script before display. The attacker needs a Gibbon account and a victim must view the stored outcome; the script can read or alter data exposed to that victim's session.
