Unauthenticated user enumeration via password-reset identifier
Published Jan 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
User enumeration in Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud 5.5 SP2.x allows remote attackers to disclose account names via the password reset page. The local password-reset handler accepts a caller-controlled id parameter and returns the corresponding username without authentication. The endpoint is exploitable only when local authentication is enabled rather than SSO, and the disclosure helps identify privileged accounts.
