Administrator stored XSS via unescaped page titles
Published Aug 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in WordPress FlipBook by Supsystic before 1.7.4 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through page-title settings. The Custom Page workflow stores an administrator-supplied title without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, letting a crafted quote create an onclick handler in the All Pages view. A viewer must click the injected title, and the affected configuration is a multisite installation or one with unfiltered_html disabled.
