Web UI service interruption via unbounded stats range
Published Jan 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Denial of service in Sidekiq 5 before 5.2.10 and Sidekiq 6 before 6.4.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt the Web UI. The root route converts the days query parameter to an integer and passes it to Sidekiq::Stats::History without limiting the requested date range. The request needs no authentication or user interaction; the documented impact is loss of Web UI availability, not data access or modification.
