Denial-of-service vulnerability in AMD uProf before the affected release cutoffs allows attackers to crash the Windows kernel via an arbitrary IOCTL buffer. The driver insufficiently validates the IOCTL input buffer, accepting attacker-controlled data that can trigger a kernel crash. The issue requires access to the host interface that accepts the IOCTL; impact is service interruption without reported confidentiality or integrity loss.
