Information disclosure in AMD processors using frequency scaling allows remote authenticated users to infer secrets through response timing. Dynamic frequency scaling makes CPU frequency depend on processed data, converting secret-dependent power variation into measurable execution-time differences. Exploitation requires repeated chosen inputs to a cryptographic workload and permits recovery of exposed secrets, including demonstrated SIKE keys, without integrity or availability impact.
