Buffer bounds checking failure in AMD Secure Processor Secure OS allows local users to escalate privileges through a malicious trusted application. An ASP Secure OS memory buffer is not checked sufficiently before a trusted application accesses it, enabling reads and writes in kernel virtual address space. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and a malicious trusted application; success compromises the ASP kernel's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
