Arbitrary code execution via APCB overwrite

An out-of-bounds write in APCB firmware for affected AMD Athlon and Ryzen processors allows local users to execute arbitrary code. Improper bounds checking lets attacker-controlled data write beyond an APCB entry and corrupt the firmware configuration block. Exploitation requires local, high-privilege access and high complexity; successful corruption can execute code outside the original security scope.
