Embedded malicious code in RIAEvangelist node-ipc 10.1.1 through 10.1.2 allows attackers to overwrite files via package execution. The ssl-geospec module queries an IP-geolocation service and recursively replaces accessible file contents with a heart character. Execution must reach the probabilistic timer and resolve the host to Russia or Belarus; activation corrupts files accessible to the package process.
