CVE-2022-23748Known exploitation

Local code execution via DLL side-loading

Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

DLL side-loading in Audinate Dante Application Library for Windows 1.2.0 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The mDNSResponder.exe component loads dal_keepalives.dll without securely constraining its location, allowing a malicious copy beside the executable to run. An attacker must place both files on the PC and induce execution; the flaw is not remotely exploitable and affects only Windows integrations.
