Code execution via unchecked ALAC sample count

Buffer overflow in Sony Xperia 1, 5, and Pro allows attackers to execute code through a malformed ALAC audio file during playback. The libstagefright_soft_somcalacdec.so decoder trusts the frame's numSamples value and writes decoded data beyond the attacker-sized mMixBufferU output buffer without checking its bounds. Exploitation requires the Sony decoder to be selected for file playback or an unprivileged Android app to invoke the privileged media service, allowing access to stored media and control of audio and video streams.
