Improper privilege management in PingID Windows Login before 2.8 allows local users to obtain administrative PingID API credentials. The client accepts a full-permissions properties file intended for privileged integrations without warning or stopping, placing its administrative credentials outside the intended trust boundary. Exploitation requires a Windows endpoint provisioned this way and high local privileges; exposed credentials permit administrative actions against PingID APIs or endpoints.
