Authenticated database compromise via undisclosed SQL injection
Published Sep 20, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025
SQL injection in Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager 6.10.6 and earlier and 6.9.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter its database. HPE identifies the web-based management interface as the affected locus but has not published the vulnerable request, parameter, or faulty query construction. A valid management account is required; successful exploitation permits reading and modifying sensitive database records and can compromise the cluster.
