Unauthenticated arbitrary-host fetch via deceptive URL authority

SSRF in S.J. Hosseini WSM Downloader 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to make the WordPress server fetch arbitrary URLs. The unauthenticated wsmd_user_download_request AJAX action accepts a link whose allowlisted brand appears before an at-sign, while URL resolution sends the request to the host after it. No account or interaction is required; the attacker controls the destination contacted by the server, but public sources demonstrate only an arbitrary-host fetch.
