Authentication bypass in HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Policy Manager affected releases allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The vendor identifies the web-based management interface as the affected locus but does not disclose the request-processing error that bypasses authentication. An unauthenticated network path to that interface is sufficient for arbitrary commands to run as root, resulting in complete host compromise.
