CVE-2022-23637Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unsafe Markdown links

Published Feb 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Stored XSS in K-Box before 0.33.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted Markdown link. The Markdown configuration enables unsafe links, so document abstracts and file previews preserve attacker-controlled JavaScript anchor targets. A user must click the stored link; the resulting script runs in that user's K-Box session and can read cookies or alter displayed content.
