Authenticated script execution via reflected search input
Published Jul 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Simple Parking Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a user's browser. The administrative /ci_spms/admin/search/searching/ endpoint returns the search parameter without neutralizing script markup. Low-privilege access and user interaction are required; the demonstrated consequence is attacker-supplied JavaScript execution in that browser.
