Cross-bot resource access via misdirected authorization check
Published Feb 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Incorrect authorization in JustArchiNET ArchiSteamFarm allows remote authenticated users to access resources of other bot instances. The [Bots] proxy-command handler checks the sender's access against the source bot instead of the command's target bot. An ASF owner must first grant control of one bot; crafted proxy commands can then cross configured bot boundaries and expose or alter other bot resources.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 5.2.2.2, < 5.2.2.5
