TOCTOU races in Google TensorFlow before 2.5.3, 2.6.0 through 2.6.2, and 2.7.0 allow local users to read or alter temporary data. Multiple utilities call tempfile.mktemp and later create a file or directory at the returned path, leaving a window for another process to claim that path first. Exploitation requires local access and winning the race; successful path substitution exposes or corrupts data handled by the affected operation.
