Cluster resource tampering via cleartext S3 synchronization

Cleartext transmission in Weaveworks Weave GitOps 0.11.0 and earlier allows local users to obtain S3 access and alter cluster resources. The gitops run CLI configured its local MinIO client with Secure set to false and forwarded host-to-bucket-server traffic over HTTP. A privileged local user or process capable of intercepting that traffic can recover bucket access information and modify synchronized content later applied to the Kubernetes cluster.
