Poll-response disclosure via unrestricted collection subscription
Published Dec 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
Information disclosure in BigBlueButton before 2.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to read individual poll responses during meetings. The bbb-html5 client permits any meeting participant to subscribe to the current-poll collection without enforcing the collection's intended authorization check. Participant access is required, and the consequence is limited to disclosure of individual responses for polls in the joined meeting.
