Authenticated information disclosure via unrestricted router requests
Published Sep 24, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
SSRF in Nepxion Discovery 6.16.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read data from attacker-selected URLs. In discovery-plugin-admin-center, RouterResourceImpl concatenates attacker-controlled routing fields into a URL and passes it to RestTemplate.getForEntity without restricting the destination. Access to the affected router endpoint is required, and the server-side request exposes only data returned by the selected destination.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
