Unauthenticated file disclosure via crafted pathnames
Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
Path traversal in the Fortinet FortiExtender management interface allows remote attackers to read arbitrary filesystem files. The interface accepts crafted web-request pathnames without confining file resolution to the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented impact is read-only disclosure from the appliance filesystem.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
