Out-of-bounds write in Samsung Mobile Devices with Exynos chipsets before SMR Feb-2022 Release 1 allows local users to execute code. The eden_runtime HAL service fails to validate a memory boundary before performing a write, allowing attacker-controlled data to corrupt memory. Affected devices run Android 10, 11, or 12 on selected Exynos chipsets; local access can yield arbitrary memory writes and code execution.
