Use of hard-coded credentials in Yokogawa CENTUM VP and Exaopc CAMS servers allows remote attackers to suppress alarms. The CAMS server accepts a malformed packet authenticated with a password embedded in affected releases, exposing every server function to the sender. Exploitation is limited to an adjacent network and requires user interaction; the documented consequence includes alarm suppression.
