Stored script execution via unescaped dalil_information field
Published Jul 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Ghiath Alkhaled W-DALIL 2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via dalil_information. The plugin stores dalil_information without sufficient sanitization and renders it without output escaping, causing injected script to run when the affected page loads. A WordPress administrator must submit the payload while unfiltered_html is disallowed, and another user's page view executes it in that user's browser context.
