Unauthenticated file disclosure via error-page file parameter
Published Mar 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Local file inclusion in Archeevo before 5.0 allows remote attackers to read local files through the unauthenticated error page. The error handler accepts the file query parameter as an application-relative path and returns the requested resource, including ~/web.config. No credentials or user interaction are required; exposure is limited to files readable and returned by the Archeevo web application.
