Service interruption via HTTP flood and overlong comment

Published Mar 21, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Denial of service in BigAnt Software BigAnt Server 5.6.06 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via repeated HTTP requests. Repeated GET requests to /admin/public/download.html drive CPU consumption until the web application and host become unresponsive. The web path requires no authentication; separately, an overlong Comment value in the UltraVNC Repeater interface crashes that Windows service.
