Administrator account takeover via stored profile email
Published Mar 21, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in BigAnt Server 5.6.06 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The profile email field accepts script content without neutralization, and the administrator console renders the stored value as executable markup. A regular account and an administrator visit are required; the demonstrated consequences include theft of the administrator's PHP session cookie and creation of an administrator account.
