CVE-2022-2335Network attack vector

Service interruption via negative Content-Length integer underflow

Published Aug 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

Integer underflow in the FastCGI interface of Softing Secure Integration Server 1.22 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The interface accepts an HTTP Content-Length header value of -1 and wraps the negative length while processing the declared request body. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted packet can halt availability, but the vendor does not specify whether the service hangs or crashes.
