Administrator account creation via forged request
Published Mar 21, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in BigAnt Server 5.6.06 allows remote attackers to create an administrator account through a crafted URL. The account-creation action accepts the state-changing request without verifying that the logged-in administrator initiated it. Exploitation requires an administrator to visit the attacker-crafted URL while authenticated, after which the new administrative account grants persistent privileged access.
