Local privilege escalation via writable service binary

Privilege escalation in Ip-label Newtest Robot 8.4R0 and earlier allows local users to gain administrator rights by replacing a service binary. The NEWTESTRemoteManager service runs as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM while its NEWTESTREMOTEMANAGER.EXE file is writable by every local user and lacks an integrity check. Any local user who can replace that executable gains administrator-level execution when the privileged service launches it.
