Browser script execution via unescaped user names
Published Feb 10, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored XSS in XMPie uStore 12.3.7244.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a viewer's browser via edited user names. The administrative User Setup editor stores script in the first-name or last-name field and later renders the value without safe escaping. Administrator access is required to plant the payload, and execution requires another user to view the affected data in a browser.
