CVE-2022-2324Network attack vector

Unauthenticated Capture ATP bypass through undisclosed check

Published Jul 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Security-check bypass in SonicWall Email Security 10.0.17.7319 and earlier allows remote attackers to evade Capture ATP inspection. SonicWall has not disclosed the affected check or how attacker-controlled email content causes the appliance to skip the Capture ATP service. No authentication or user interaction is required; the bounded consequence is loss of ATP inspection for content that reaches the vulnerable processing path.
