Unauthenticated metrics access and alert modification
Published Aug 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
An undisclosed flaw in NetApp StorageGRID 11.6.0 through 11.6.0.2 allows remote attackers to view metrics and alter alert emails. NetApp has not disclosed the affected request handler or the validation error that exposes metrics and accepts changes to alert email recipients and content. Exploitation requires a Linux deployment running a kernel before 4.7.0; no authentication or user interaction is required, and impact is limited to those metrics and alert settings.
