Unauthenticated telemetry disclosure via disabled AutoSupport transmission
Published Aug 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager before 9.10P1 allows remote attackers to obtain storage-management telemetry. The AutoSupport subsystem continues sending cluster, node, and Unified Manager data to Active IQ after periodic AutoSupport is disabled. No authentication or user interaction is required, but network egress to Active IQ must remain available; exposure is limited to information contained in the transmitted telemetry.
