Authentication failure in NetApp StorageGRID before 11.6.0 allows remote authenticated users with stale S3 keys to read prior S3 data. Background identity-source synchronization fails to refresh or enforce disabled, expired, or locked status before accepting existing S3 credentials. Access requires a previously authorized external account and retained S3 key, and the exposure is limited to S3 data previously accessible to that account.
