Temporary service interruption via WebRTC resource exhaustion
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Resource exhaustion in Pexip Infinity 1.0 through 26.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via WebRTC input. The WebRTC implementation accepts inadequately validated input and allocates resources without limits or throttling. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposure requires WebRTC to be enabled, and the resulting service interruption is temporary.
